THE DONORS to be released June 29, 2012

The Donors by Jeffrey Wilson brought to you by JournalStone.

JournalStone Publishing has announced the release date for Jeffrey Wilson's terrifying new supernatural medical thriller THE DONORS. Look for it at all fine booksellers on June 29th:

A powerful and evil force is at work in the Hospital where little Nathan is recovering from injuries at the hands of his Mom's abusive ex-boyfriend. Demonic looking men with pale faces and glowing eyes lurk in the shadows and, worse, it appears that someone is harvesting skin and organs from living-- and awake-- donors against their will. In his dreams, little Nathan can see these demons in their true form-- evil creatures who feed on the fear and hatred they help create in their victims. Nathan's only ally is the young Doctor who cares for him. Bound together by their shared legacy of abuse, they also seem to share the ability to see the creatures for what they are. Together they must find a way to destroy the demons before their own loved ones become the next victims and the evil creatures grow too powerful to stop.

Jeffrey will be at the International Thriller Writers "ThrillerFest VII" in New York City on July 11th-14th. Both THE DONORS and THE TRAITEUR'S RING will be available in the on site bookstore at this fantastic conference. Thanks to Everyone Who Helped Make Our Navy SEAL Foundation Fundraiser a Success

February is over and we want to thank everyone who helped spread the word about our fundraiser. It will take some time to determine the sales (many sellers report quarterly) but we do know that we raised some money for a terrific cause. Publisher Chris Payne is a good friend and a true patriot for helping make this project happen. Thanks so much to the readers who bought books and the friends and partners who helped get the work out.

Thanks especially to Troy Lapetina. Troy is a friend and colleague who is also the president and CEO of Nathan Group, LLC which owns and manufactures the Rapid Access Tool, which Troy invented. This is an amazing device that truly saves lives, used by Police, Fire Departments, and a myriad of government Agencies to allow incredibly rapid breaching of armoured vehicles. Troy generously donated $50 on each device sold in February to the Navy SEAL Foundation to help our fundraising effort. Visit Troy at www.RapidAccessTool.com to thank him and learn more about his device.

Thanks also to the entrepreuers and former operators at Forged Clothing, the team at NavySEALS.com, Writers Benjanmin Kane Ethridge (www.bkethridge.com), Lincoln Crisler (http://lincolncrisler.info/), Rocky Wood (president of the Horror Writer's Association), and Marliss Melton (www.marlissmelton.com), all of whom helped tremendously by spreading the word about our project.

And most importantly, thanks to the men and women of Naval Special Warfare for their dedication and sacfrifice and to the families who they sometimes leave behind.

Jeffrey Wilson and Publisher Chistopher C. Payne Announce a Fundraiser for the Navy SEAL Foundation

In August of 2011, the Navy SEAL community suffered its worst single day loss of life in its more than 50-year history when a team of SEALs aboard a special operations helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan . Like everyone with ties to Naval Special Warfare, writer Jeffrey Wilson was deeply affected by this event. Everyone in the community is connected in some way to the families devastated by this tragedy.

Together with JournalStone Publisher Christopher C. Payne, Jeffrey has set out to raise money for the Navy SEAL Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides direct support for wounded SEALs and others from the Special Warfare community, and provides support and comfort for the families left behind when SEALs are killed in the line of duty.

For the entire month of February, Jeffrey Wilson will donate 100% of his royalties from his novel THE TRAITEUR'S RING to the Navy SEAL foundation. In an incredible show of generosity and support, Chris Payne at JournalStone has agreed to not only match this donation, but in fact donate 100% of JournalStones' February profits from this book.

HELP US GIVE BACK TO AMERICA'S HEROES

The events of August 6th, with the loss of a special operations Helicopter to insurgent enemy fire and the loss of 30 Navy SEALs and support personnel was, and continues to be, a very difficult thing for folks with ties to the NSW community. As a result of a number of emails asking for ways to help, Jeffrey wrote an article that is coming out in a handful of newspapers around the country about how to give something back to the our nation's warriors and their families. We are posting the links to the article and the links to the organizations that he discussed. If you are looking for a way to help, any of these would be a great place to start. Needless to say, Jeffrey has a particular fondness for the Navy SEAL Foundation.

A man who has spent his life defending his country discovers that fate has presented him with an even higher calling. Ben Morvant is not what you would call ordinary and as a Navy SEAL, he never expected an ordinary life. But when a routine mission to protect a local village in a war-torn region of Africa goes terribly wrong, Ben is presented with truths beyond what his military training and experience have prepared him to accept. With his dying breath, a village elder passes to Ben a gift-a simple ring, unremarkable except for its ever changing color and the feeling of power emanating from within.

Soon after accepting the ring dark visions begin to haunt Ben's dreams. Images of pain and death, of evil and destruction. But some of the visions are hauntingly familiar. Soon Ben must return to his childhood home in Louisiana to face a dark secret from his past, one that may explain why he has the power to heal with a touch of the hand . . . or kill with a single thought. After discovering the truth about his family and himself, he comes to realize that he is a soldier in a greater battle than he could ever have imagined. And if he cannot find a way to wield the power concealed within him, the forces that prey on mankind’s anger and fear will destroy not only him, but everything he holds dear.
