FADE TO BLACK Book launch at the WHC/Stoker 2013 in New Orleans

Jeff will appear at the Stoker Weekend/World Horror Convention at an event on June 14th to launch his newest novel, FADE TO BLACK. The event will occur on the Friday of the convention, which will be held at the historic Hotel Monteleone in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The Convention runs from June 13th to June 16th with a number of other incredible events. Jeff will be signing books at his launch event and will also attend the JournalStone Publishing hosted party later that evening with a number of other JournalStone authors.

FANFEST at the ITW Thrillerfest in New York

Jeff will join 29 other International Thriller Writers authors for a first time ever event during the annual Thrillerfest weekend in New York. "Fanfest" is sure to be an amazing event and Jeff is thrilled to be a part of it. Each author will host several fans (with each publisher using their own event to select attendees) at a cocktail party on that Friday evening from 6:30-8:00 pm and the attendees with get lots of cool swag, signed books, and a chance to meet lots of other writers and readers. Jeff will also join the other Fanfest/ ITW host authors for a booksigning from 6:00-6:30 pm. ITW will release more information on the event soon, and we will make it available when they do. We will also update you on how JournalStone intends to select the lucky fans who will attend!

The problem is, the nightmares keep coming back, and to Jack, they feel in many ways more real than his life at home with his family. When news reports start coming in about killed and wounded Marines in Fallujah, Jack realizes he knows far more about these men then he should. But, when the dead Marines from his nightmares start visiting him even when he is awake, Jack knows he has a much bigger problem. He must face the possibility that he is losing his mind, or the far more terrifying possibility that both worlds are real and that he must somehow find a way between the two worlds so that he can save his friends and find his way back to his life with his wife and baby girl.

In August of 2011, the Navy SEAL community suffered its worst single day loss of life in its more than 50-year history when a team of SEALs aboard a special operations helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan . The events of August 6th, with the loss of a special operations Helicopter to insurgent enemy fire and the loss of 30 Navy SEALs and support personnel was, and continues to be, a very difficult thing for folks with ties to the NSW community. As a result of a number of emails asking for ways to help, Jeffrey wrote an article that is coming out in a handful of newspapers around the country about how to give something back to the our nation's warriors and their families.
